The reason I wanted Hiking4fun to be created was because of my love for walking,Hiking & Trekking Nepal & anywhere in the world & my love of Nepal. Having spent a few years living in the country & have visited many areas of Nepal where tourists just don’t go because they are herded towards the touristy areas. I can safely say the best fun, experiences & enjoyment I have had has come from these areas. And this can be attributed to many reasons ranging from the areas I have visited were to meet family or friends connected to both business & charity work I have been involved in. All the way through to the warm hospitality of the Nepali people who treat a guest as an honoured visitor to their homes. And one of the main things I have gleaned from these experiences is that the people living in these areas wouldn’t leave for the cities if they could earn a living in the villages.
So because of my experiences & for the people I have met along the way I want Hiking4fun to help open up these areas for not just tourism but also cultural experiences as Nepali have such a rich culture its amazing as well as fun to be a part of it. And best of all it takes out all of the hassle of setting the trip up arranging for hotels, taxis, food, sightseeing etc. So all you need to do is come, sightsee & of course hike to your hearts content in some of the greatest landscapes in Nepal. So by promoting Hiking mainly & a little trekking because its part of this great country we hope that we can attract visitors to these areas to experience some great hiking trails, amazing hospitality from the locals while at the same time helping to create an infrastructure in areas where all will benefit.
